Aftermarket Parts Division

North American Bus Industries is a full line OEM supplier of parts for the U.S. Transit industry. Our Aftermarket Parts Operation works with a network of four locations, one in Ohio; one in Washington State; one in Alabama and one in California with a combined storage space totaling nearly 110,000 square feet.  We are in the process of building an additional warehouse with nearly 215,000 square feet. This new warehouse is projected to be completed by the end of November 2008. Stock availability is linked between all locations making the totality of our inventory available to our customers. If an “out of stock” condition exists at the geographic location nearest the customer, the order is automatically moved to a location with available stock.

North American Bus Industries maintains an active sales and service force of 52 personnel with combined experience totaling over 800 years. We have a fully staffed bidding operation that analyzes bids received via Fax, email and the postal service. We pride ourselves in fast and accurate response to your solicitations. The inside sales function is accomplished by a knowledgeable staff of “real” people who can answer your questions, take your orders over the phone and offer solutions to your problems. Our aftermarket sales force visits all major transit authorities on a regular basis for the purpose of troubleshooting and to review parts needs. In a world of increasing electronic sterile exchange between customer and supplier, North American Bus Industries takes pride in maintaining the “personal touch” it has always offered.

As a service to our customers we offer a customized recommended spares list for each new build of coaches. All backorders are now subjected to prioritized expediting environment to assure prompt response from our suppliers.  Normal shipping goals for stock items include a turn around of 48 hours from time of order receipt until shipment is made and same day shipment of critical need or coach down items. From our order entry personnel to the people who “pick it and ship it” we maintain a high level of awareness regarding your need to keep the vehicles rolling and meet your pull out goals.
